Why I’m Seeking Election

From Family Farm to Community Service

I’ve called Foothills County home since 1961. My family farmed here, and it’s where we raised our own. With a background in environmental management, soils and crop production, and decades of experience as an environmental scientist, I’ve worked with farmers, industry, and municipalities to protect our land, water, and air for future generations.

Now retired, I have the time and dedication to give back by listening to residents, supporting farms and acreages, and working for a healthy, sustainable lifestyle for all families in Division 7.

Experience You Can Trust

Over a lifetime of working with people and raising a family, I’ve learned that communication and respect are key to success. As councillor, I will work to foster open, respectful dialogue, listen carefully to all residents, and help find fair, practical solutions that serve our community.

Building a Stronger Foothills

Nobody likes higher taxes. My first priority is ensuring that tax dollars are used as efficiently as possible. I also believe in attracting sustainable businesses that require minimal municipal infrastructure while contributing to the tax base, helping reduce the burden on property owners.

Foothills County needs an updated municipal growth plan, one developed through true representation and consultation with all residents. My focus is on accountability, sustainability, and protecting our environment while ensuring balanced growth.
